Our personal network database consists of higher end influentials who are looking to relocate to Chicago. Our first jump is not right to the MLS. When representing sellers, we often will sign a nondisclosure document, agreeing to keep your plans quiet in exchange for bringing in buyers for a first look -- and first option to buy -- before the listing goes public. This helps a seller sidestep the headache of a broker’s open house, or worse, one for buyers that can draw interior-decorating "tourists," would-be thieves, and house-hunters who simply can't afford the property. It is our job to keep those kinds out and to avoid wasting everyone’s time.

I am one agent that operates a small firm keeping a limited clientele listing. I operate this way because your home deserves a focus with its own marketing strategy that I derive.
